Recap: On-Demand Transit Information Session (August 2024)
Thank you to everyone who joined our On-Demand Transit Information Session at the Mill Woods library branch. The event included a presentation about the service, a demo of how to book a trip on the app and website for the Charlesworth neighbourhood, a Q&A with the audience, and a chance to go onboard an On-Demand bus to get familiar with riding.
We appreciated all of the questions and feedback shared about On-Demand transit, and accessibility in our transit system. Transit is one of the big topics that I hear about from residents the most, and many of the questions lately have been inquiring about On-Demand services. I’m glad we had the chance to share more information on this service which fills a valuable gap in our transit system, and the processes behind it.
A huge thank you to our partners in planning this information session: Edmonton Transit Services, the Baba Nanak Trust Foundation and the Mill Woods EPL Branch which hosted us.
